Cobb County School Board members adopted a $1.8-billion budget Thursday night. The budget includes staff raises, but there were plenty of upset taxpayers at a public forum who spoke out before the meeting.

Retrial set for men accused of killing teacher

Following a mistrial, a hearing was held Thursday in the murder case of the New Orleans teacher who was gunned down at a Gwinnett County gas station. Attorneys for the three men accused of killing Bradley Coleman asked a judge to prevent a new trial based on prosecutorial misconduct. Essentially, allowing the defendants to go free.

Michael Cohen's third day on the witness stand is now over. The president’s former lawyer is the prosecution's only witness to tie the Stormy Daniels hush money payment to allegations that trump falsified business records to cover it up. The defense continued to question Cohen’s credibility.
