Metro Atlanta pastor set to speak at Aretha Franklin's funeral

ATLANTA - An Atlanta-area pastor will give the eulogy at the Queen of Soul's funeral.

Reverend Jasper Williams Jr. of Atlanta's Salem Baptist Church will speak at the service for Aretha Franklin next week.

Reverend Williams was also the eulogist at the funeral for Aretha’s father.

Family members said that's why she requested him for her own service.

Reverend Williams said he's honored to carry out what he describes as "the Queen's orders".

Franklin will be laid to rest next Friday at Greater Grace Temple in Detroit.
