America's 2nd oldest Pearl Harbor survivor writes new book
ATLANTA - On December 7, 1941, Lt. Jim Downing was aboard the USS West Virginia when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. Now, at 104-years-old, Downing is the second oldest living survivor of Pearl Harbor.
Good Day Atlanta's Buck Lanford recently sat down with Lt. Downing, who also holds another title of distinction, author.
Downing's new book is called "The Other Side of Infamy: My Journey through Pearl Harbor and the World of War."
