Dad creates app that locks phone until child responds to parent's text
Heads up to parents, a new phone app will make it impossible for your children to ignore your texts.
With the Android app Reply-ASAP, the phone receives a text from another connected user.
The phone then locks down until that text is answered or at least read.
The app was first developed by a father who wanted to make sure others parents never had to wait worried while their texts went ignored.
It was launched in the summer of 2017 and has been downloaded more than 75,000 times.
