On Thursday, Williams makes a stop right here in Atlanta!

Wendy joined Good Day Atlanta's Alyse Eady to talk about the success of her show, her organizations Be Here and The Hunter Foundation, and what she's planning for the future.

She even helped meteorologist Joanne Feldman with a bit of the local forecast!

Thursday night, Wendy will be at the Buckhead Theatre for a free evening of advice, music and, of course, Hot Topics.

Wendy told Alyse she was shocked at the success of the "Wendy Williams Show."

"Ten years, I did not think we would still be here," she said.

Jokingly, Wendy credited the show's success to the fact that "everyone loves a mess," but says its really all the people around her that let the show grow naturally to something that embodied her personality.

"We were not the typical talk show," she said. "The show was built around my radio career ... I've always adored my audience and my cohosts."

In addition to the show, taking her son to college, Wendy has also created nonprofit The Hunter Foundation with her husband and son. This year, their organization teamed up with BeHere.org to face the national crisis of substance abuse.

"I myself am a product of substance abuse," she said. "But it's that you fall down, it's about getting back up and set a good example. If you get off the drugs you can be here for your next birthday, be here for your kids, be here for your life."

As for what to expect for the new season, which premieres Monday, Sept. 10? More of what you love.

"A nice outfit, good hair, makeup, the purple chair," she said. "I'm not tinkering with something that's not broken."
