The FBI announced Tuesday the establishment of a $30,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the man who robbed an armored car crew.

Loomis Armored U.S., LLC. has offered the reward in connection with the March 21 robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank at 1459 Moreland Avenue in Atlanta.

A Loomis employee was delivering a large amount of cash to the bank about 12:50 p.m. when he was ambushed at the front door by the robber.

Investigators describe the robber as a black male wearing a black skull mask and black hoodie.

The robber demanded the money and took it by force from the employee.

Several people witnessed the robbery, but some of them were gone by the time police arrived at the scene. The F.B.I. would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the crime.

Anyone with information about the armed robbery is asked to contact Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-TIPS (8477).
