Airline employee victim of sex crime at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport
ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Atlanta police say a gate agent for one of the airlines was assaulted during a sex crime inside one of the concourses.
A passenger has been jailed. His name is Jose Antonio Balb.
The gate agent says a coworker informed her after the fact that the traveler watched her and then followed her up to the check-in desk.
She said she felt the man – 200 pounds -- press his body against hers from behind and attempt to pin her hands.
A male coworker yelled at the passenger and pulled him off of the female.
The incident took place on Friday night before midnight.
"I don't know what I would have done if my co-worker had not been there," she told FOX 5 News in a phone conversation.
