Arby's to add venison sandwiches through November
The fast-food chain will add venison, also known as deer meat to its list of ingredients this month.
The new sandwich will be offered for a limited time at 17 Arby’s restaurants across the country.
According to the company, the locations were chosen in heavy deer hunting areas in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Georgia. The promotion will only run for a few days at each selected restaurant and is scheduled to end on Nov. 27.
You can purchase the new sandwich in Georgia at 4415 Roswell Rd. NE, Atlanta
The venison sandwich is "100 percent deer meat," with premium cut top and bottom round steaks from the hind quarter of the deer, according to Rob Lynch, Arby’s Brand President & Chief Marketing Officer.
The unique offering makes perfect sense to Arby's Brand President Rob Lynch. "Hunters hunt the meats, and we have the meats, so it makes sense for us to connect with them and offer a sandwich that they can't get at any other restaurant chain," Lynch said in a press release.
