Atlanta City Council member hospitalized

ATLANTA - Atlanta City Council Member Ivory Young, Jr. was hospitalized Friday night.

His family thanks the public for their well-wishes and continued prayers.

Relatives are also asking for privacy.

Details of his illness and condition are not being made public at this time.

A city council rep told FOX 5 News, Young was first hospitalized earlier this week.
