Body of 2nd missing boater found in Lake Lanier
FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Officials have found the body of the second missing boater who disappeared after a crash on Lake Lanier.
Saturday night, the Georgia Department of Natural Resources said the body of 38-year-old Nicholas Schimweg was pulled from the lake around 6:30.
DNR said the crew used sonar to find the man's body in nearly 54-foot-deep water about 50 feet from the site where his boat crashed with a cabin cruiser on Wednesday.
Divers found the body of Schimweg's friend, 59-year-old Brianislav Prazich, on Friday.

Prazich and Schimweg were on the fishing boat. The three people on the cruiser suffered non-life-threatening injuries. At least one was taken to North Fulton County Medical Center.
They were identified Thursday as 55-year-old Scott Butler of Atlanta; 19-year-old Amy Butler of Atlanta; and 18-year-old Abigail Suzman of Scarsdale, N.Y.
