Boil Water Advisory in Flowery Branch after bridge washout

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. - A Boil Water Advisory has been issued for parts of Flowery Branch after a bridge washed out early Friday morning.

Crews are working to repair the bridge on Cantrell Road near Victoria Drive. In the meantime, motorists are being urged to avoid the area. 

Following the washout and heavy rainfall in the area, officials issued a water boil and low-pressure order, which is in effect until 9 a.m. on Saturday. 

The areas in the advisory include Carriage Crossing, Waterstone Crossing, and Clarkstone Village.
