Car crashes into car wash, injures 3 people

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - Three people have been transported to the hospital after officials say a car smashed into the front of a car wash in Lithonia.

Emergency medical services were called to Cartopia Car Wash on Panola road Wednesday after the car went through the front of the building, entrapping one person.

Officials say the driver of the vehicle had a medical episode and lost control of the car.

One person in the building was hit in the crash. Another person became trapped inside as well.

The driver and both other victims were taken to a local hospital. Officials say that the person who was hit is in critical condition.

No names have been released for the driver or the other two victims.
