Clayton County Police release new video connected to deadly shooting
ATLANTA - Police in Clayton County have released new video in the search for a gunman who killed a model as she drove down the road.
Surveillance video from a gas station near the shooting shows two cars: a white SUV and a gray sedan passing Kelsey Quayle's car.
Not long after, someone shot Quayle as she drove along Upper Riverdale Road Monday morning. Family members told FOX 5 News the bullet entered Quayle's neck, severing her spinal cord at the base of her brain, causing catastrophic brain damage.
Police want to speak with the driver of the SUV and the driver of the sedan, as well as anyone who was driving in that area Monday morning.
The family of the 28-year-old model said they took her off life support Wednesday at Grady Memorial Hospital after it was determined by doctors that she was brain dead.
Family members told FOX 5 News that Quayle moved to Georgia a few months ago with her boyfriend, excited to pursue her modeling career in Atlanta. She got a job at a dentist's office in Riverdale and was driving to work Monday morning when her life took a tragic turn.
