Cobb County police officer injured in chase

COBB COUNTY, Ga. - A Cobb County Police officer was rushed to the hospital Monday after being struck by a car during a chase.

It happened along Cobb Parkway near Marietta Parkway. Cobb County Police said they were chased alleged motorcycle thieves when the incident happened.

The officer suffered a serious leg injury and was taken to an area hospital.

Police said they have two people in custody and are possibly searching for a third.
