Dump truck crash in Dawson County

DAWSON COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - A bad wreck slowed traffic along Georgia Highway 400 in Dawson County Monday afternoon.

It happened around 4 p.m. at the intersection of GA-400 and Georgia Highway 53. Dawson County authorities said at least one person was trapped inside of their vehicle because of the crash.

SKYFOX 5 flew over the scene shortly before 5 p.m. and spotted a dump truck turned over on its side, with its load of fill across several lanes of traffic.

No word on any injuries.

The crash is still under investigation.
