Etowah high school student accused of threats appears in court

A Cherokee County judge denies bond for a teenager accused of making threats of violence at school.

Friday, Alfred Dupree appeared in court for a bond hearing.

Dupree and another teen, Victoria McCurley, are charged with plotting to attack Etowah High School.

They were arrested after investigators found an incendiary device and a journal with a list of targets among their belongings.

So far, no additional court hearings have been scheduled for Dupree or McCurley.
