Former R. Kelly manager surrenders for terroristic threats
HENRY COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - TMZ reports one of R. Kelly's managers has surrendered on charges he made terroristic threats against a family of one of the singer's alleged victims.
Joycelyn Savage's father told TMZ Henry James Mason threatened to kill him and do harm to his family.
FOX 5 received Mason's mug shot from the Henry County Sheriff's Office on Friday.
Authorities issued an arrest warrant last August but Mason just turned himself in.
Mason has been released on a $10,000 bond.
An attorney representing the Savage family released the following statement after Mason's arrest:
“Let this be a message to R. Kelly’s staff that we won’t be bullied or threatened. We will continue to pursue legal action against any and all threats to the safety of the Savage family. Our goal has always been to bring Joycelyn Savage home safely and we will not be deterred.”
