GA Supreme Court: no gag order in Tara Grinstead case
ATLANTA - The Georgia Supreme Court denied a motion to reinstate a gag order in the case of Tara Grinstead.
The South Georgia teacher was reported missing in late 2005.
New information surfaced last year that led to the arrest of her former student, Ryan Duke, for murder.
After his arrest, a judge issued a gag order preventing anyone involved in the case from speaking publicly.
The state's highest court later threw that order out, and on Thursday, they upheld that decision.
