Georgia elementary schools make Pinwheels For Parkland
DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - A strong showing of support and love for students at Majory Stonemen Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
Three Dekalb County elementary schools teamed up to make Pinwheels For Parkland as a way to send positivity and kindness to the student survivors of the mass shooting there February 14.
Students at Austin, Kingsley, and Dunwoody elementary schools decorated the pinwheels on Friday.
FOX 5 News talked to some of those students at Austin Elementary School about their pinwheels.
Moving company Bulldog Movers packed up the pinwheels and left for parkland Monday.
They will be handed out to high school students on Wednesday, exactly one month after the tragic shooting.
