Georgia Governor urges to 'Look Again' for kids in hot cars
ATLANTA - As the weather heats up, Georgia officials urge parents and caregivers to take extra precautions and make sure kids are not left alone in hot cars.
Governor Nathan Deal and first lady Sandra Deal have launched the Look Again public awareness campaign.
The campaign encourages heightened awareness in not leaving children unattended in vehicles.
Since 2010, officials said 17 children in Georgia have died of vehicular heat-stroke.
Anyone who sees a child left alone in a car is encouraged to call 911 immediately.
