Good Friday Pilgrimage in Atlanta

The Friday before Easter, also known as Good Friday, is considered a sacred day in Christianity. It is the day on which Christian mark the crucifixion of Jesus.

Atlanta Christians gathered together for the 38th annual Ecumenical Good Friday Pilgrimage.

The event is sponsored by the Archdiocese of Atlanta and included scripture readings, prayers, and music.

The two-mile route began at the shrine of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and ended at the crypt of Martin Luther King Jr.
