GSU student stabbed on campus, suspect in custody

ATLANTA - Georgia State University Campus Police, along with Atlanta officers, are investigating an early morning stabbing inside one of the college dorms.

The violence broke out inside the Piedmont North building on Piedmont Road in downtown Atlanta. According to police, two students started fighting over a girl. One male, according to police, had a knife and stabbed the other.

Medics rushed the victim to Grady Memorial Hospital. His condition is not known.

Police said they have the suspected stabber in custody.
