Huge indoor water resort to open in Georgia in 2018
LAGRANGE, Ga. - Georgia is getting an indoor water resort about an hour southwest of Atlanta.
The city of LaGrange announced Tuesday that the Great Wolf Lodge Georgia will open in 2018. On their website, the lodge touts itself as a 93,000-square-foot indoor family adventure with attractions for all ages.
The water park will feature slides, a wave pool, a lazy river and other traditional water park attractions, all at a constant temperature of 84 degrees year-round. Out-of-water experiences include climbing walls, a rope course and a bowling alley.
The lodge will have just over 450 suites, including special themed rooms with specialized dining and shopping available on site.
