Man shot, killed at hotel in Fulton County identified
FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - Authorities have identified a man who was shot and killed at the A2C Budget Hotel early Tuesday.
Fulton County police said Jeremy Braswell, 24, was found on a third floor balcony at the hotel on Shirley Drive around 11:30 p.m. Monday night. According to police, the victim wasn't a registered guest at the hotel.
Detectives are reviewing surveillance footage, hoping to learn more about the incident.
FOX 5's Marissa Mitchell spoke with several people at the scene, including a woman who said Braswell was her uncle. She and others reported hearing several gunshots.
"That's what woke me up..." Red Smith told Mitchell. "He's a good man. I don't see why anyone would do that. He was cool with everybody."
