Mercedes Benz groundbreaking for new headquarters site in Sandy Springs

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. - Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed was in Sandy Springs Monday morning for the groundbreaking of the new Mercedes Benz headquarters site.

Governor Deal also attended the event. 

Construction is expected to start before the end of the year and set to be complete in 2018. 

Mercedes is moving from a site in New Jersey.
