More services return following ransomware attack
ATLANTA - Several more city of Atlanta services are back up and running after the ransomware attack last week.
Parking tickets can as of Tuesday be paid in-person, online, or over the phone.
The Atlanta Municipal Court still cannot accept payment for non-parking ticket related matters.
Failure to appear cases will not be heard until the city systems are restored.
There has been no official confirmation as to where the hack originated but sources indicate it started in the Atlanta City Council databases.
It's not clear whether the city has paid the ransom being demanded to restore services.
