Police: Carjacker tried to sell vehicle on Craigslist
CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. - Clayton County deputies have arrested a man who they say tried to sell a stolen car on Craigslist.
Authorities say Daniel Akpobiyeri carjacked a victim in Fulton County and then tried to sell the car online in Clayton County.
The victim was looking on Craigslist to find a replacement vehicle and found his own car for sale, officials said.
Investigators set up a sting operation and arranged to meet Akpobiyeri in the area of Gardenwalk Boulevard.
After taking him into custody, deputies discovered several car titles and over 100 car keys at his home.
Akpobiyeri is currently in the Clayton County Jail awaiting transport to Fulton.
