Police: Gwinnett robbers hit 15 stores in crime spree
GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - A group of burglars in Gwinnett County have hit 15 businesses in a crime spree that has caused thousands of dollars in damages.
Now police have released new surveillance video in hoping of catching the men before they strike again.
Since late May, Gwinnett police say a ring of thieves has hit two Cricket Wireless stores and several other businesses stealing cash, cellphones, and computers, in a haul that totals almost $100,000.
The other heists included computer repair shops, gas stations, and even a hair salon.
In all 15 heists the number of suspects has changed from three to five, but the way they operate remains the same.
"They use a crowbar and break in," Gwinnett Police Corp. Wilbert Rundles said.

Police say the bandits may be in their late teens or early 20's, but they seem to be skilled at getting in, swiping merchandise, and then getting out.
"They don't run around frantic, but seem to have a plan," Rundles said.
The thieves initially concentrated in the Gwinnett and Lilburn areas, but they have since spread their reach to include robberies in DeKalb, Chamblee, and even Marietta.
