Police: Man killed in Atlantic Station's parking garage

ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Police said a 21-year-old man was shot numerous times in the parking deck of a popular Midtown Atlanta destination.

Atlanta Police said that man died from his injuries. Officers were called out to Atlantic Station around 7:30 p.m. because of the shooting inside the parking deck.

No arrests have been made, but police said they believe the shooter is a man who left the scene driving a pickup truck.

Police said there was no evidence the gunman took the victim’s belongings, so they don’t know if robbery was a motive.

They told FOX 5 that the victim traveled to the location for what they call a "criminal transaction."

Atlantic Station issued the following statement regarding the shooting:
