Police: Man shot and killed at DeKalb County gas station
DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - Police have named a person of interest in a deadly shooting at a DeKalb County gas station.
Officials told FOX 5 20-year-old Traveon Smith died late Wednesday night at a Citgo Gas Station on the 300 block of North Stone Mountain Road.
Officers found the 20-year-old lying in the gas station's parking lot. Police say he was shot "several times."
Emergency Services responded to the scene, but the man had already died.
Employees at the gas station said they turned over surveillance videos to investigators.
Police released surveillance footage of one men, who was dressed in a gray hoodie.
Detectives confirmed to FOX 5 Friday, the male wearing the red, white, and blue jacket is no longer a person of interest. However, the men wearing the gray hoodie is still considered a person of interest.
