Police: 1 dead, 2 injured in South Fulton apartment shooting

SOUTH FULTON, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Police in the City of South Fulton said one person is dead and two others are injured in an apartment shooting Wednesday evening.

Lt. Derrick Rogers, a spokesperson with the City of South Fulton Police Department said they were called out to 5500 Oakley Industrial Blvd. to the Orchard Springs apartments around 9:20 p.m. Thursday night.

Lt. Rogers said three men were inside one of the units talking when an argument broke out.  Lt. Rogers said that argument led to a gunfight.  When the shooting was over, 2 men were injured and rushed to the hospital.  The third man was dead.

Police have not yet released the names of any of the men involved.
