Police: Search for gang members for multiple shootings
ATHENS, Ga. - Athens-Clarke County Police have arrested eight suspects and are looking for two others accused in 14 gang-related shootings since the beginning of the year. The latest arrests stem from a drive-by shooting last Friday.
On March 20, around 1 p.m., officers were called to Spring Valley Mobile Home Park. Upon arrival, police found multiple rounds at the scene. No one was injured, and none of the homes were damaged.
An officer later spotted a white Pontiac Grand Prix, which was described as the suspect vehicle. The officer pulled the car over and found four guns inside.
Athens-Clarke County Police said the investigation led to the arrests of Ladaryan Thrasher, 18, and 18-year-old Jarvis Clarke.
According to police, the shooting at the mobile home park was related to another shooting at a Goodwill store on Lexington on the same day.
Police are now searching for Terique Eberhart in connection with the shootings. He's wanted for aggravated assault.
