Protest in Atlanta opposes National Emergency Declaration
ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Activists in Atlanta staged a protest against President Trump's National Emergency Declaration.
Demonstrators gathered outside the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement office on Ted Turner Drive in Atlanta Monday.
Protesters carried signs and chanted in opposition to the move which would allow the president to get the money he needs to build the southern wall.
This is one of several dozen protests across the country opposing the move.
The National Emergency Declaration could free up to $8 billion to build the 234 miles of border wall.
