Johns Creek Police want to find a woman who hasn't been seen since she left to run errands on Monday morning.

“I never dreamed something like this would happen to us,” says Wes Smith. “Here it is, it's happened. This could happen to any family.”

Carol Lynn Smith left home around 11 a.m. Her son says she went to pick up a prescription but never made it to the pharmacy.

“My father came home at 7 p.m. and realized that she wasn't here and she left her phone here, and that's when we realized something was wrong.”

JCPD released an alert. It shows the van Smith is believed to be driving. It's a 2015 Honda Odyssey with a Mercer University tag, and Twelve Stone Church sticker on the back window.

Smith's son says he's been told his mother might have been spotted at a gas station in Griffin. He was told the woman, who fit Mrs. Smith's description, seemed to be confused.

Anyone who has seen Carol Lynn Smith is asked to contact the Johns Creek Police Department at 678-474-1593.
