Shooting investigation at northeast Atlanta gas station
ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Police are investigating a shooting that happened at an Atlanta gas station.
Officials said the shooting happened after midnight on Monday on the 300 block of Boulevard SE.
According to investigators, a silver sedan approached a man while he was standing outside his car. Police say the driver got out of the sedan, hit the victim in the head with a handgun, shot him in the abdomen, and then fled the scene,
Medics took the victim to the hospital, where they say he is in stable condition.
Police have not yet released the identity of the victim or whether they have any suspects.
The shooting comes blocks away from a deadly shooting behind a nearby Taco Bell.
