Suspected gang member arrested for second time

A suspected gang member who failed to show up for his court date has been arrested for the second time by authorities with the DeKalb County Sheriff's office.

Malcolm Jamal Brown, 30, of Smyrna, now faces two counts of malice murder, eight counts of violation of the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act and Violation of Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.

According to police, Brown may have ordered the May 2014 murders of Sonia Williams and Shaniqua Camacho in Decatur.

DeKalb Sheriff's investigators say they found and arrested Brown on January 11. He is being held in the DeKalb County Jail without bond.
