Two Georgia Tech students robbed at gunpoint off campus

ATLANTA - Police are looking for two armed men after a couple of Georgia Tech students were robbed off campus Wednesday night, according to authorities.

Officers said the crime happened around 11:45 p.m. in an area between the Exchange West Midtown Apartments and the IKEA store on 16th Street. 

Police said the two armed men approached the students and forced them to hand over their belongings at gunpoint. The victims told officers the men got away in a dark-colored sedan and headed in the direction of Atlantic Station. 

The students also said they were not injured during the crime, according to investigators.
