LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Gwinnett County police say two suspects vandalized two 12 Stone Church locations in Duluth and Lawrenceville, causing nearly 10,000 worth of property damages.
On August 21, surveillance video shows two suspects at the 12 Stone Church in Lawrenceville on Buford Drive around 4a.m. The suspects reportedly broke four windows and spray painted “Woe to you who are rich,” and “Woe to you who are well fed” on the building.
On September 4, one suspect was seen in surveillance video at the 12 Stone Church’s Duluth campus around 2 a.m. Police say the video shows the suspect peeking around a corner before spray painting the lens of the security camera. The suspect reportedly broke windows and spray painted the text “John 2:16” on the building. Police say similar symbols from the first incident were also spray painted at this location as well.
The suspects left pamphlets at both locations, expressing their displeasure with the church.
Authorities say a red Dodge Durango was possibly used in this case.
