Villa Rica school resource officer wrangles snake

VILLA RICA, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - A school resource officer in Villa Rica protects and serves and wrangles snakes.

When a snake slithered onto the playground at Villa Rica Elementary School, Officer Amber Troglin knew just what to do.

She grabbed the 5-foot-long snake with her bare hands and relocated it to a quieter location away from the school.

The snake wasn't venomous and didn't get near any kids.
