Officials discuss economic impact of Super Bowl with businesses
ATLANTA - The Atlanta Super Bowl Host Committee announced some exciting new details for February’s game.
They held a briefing Wednesday to update representatives from area restaurants, hotels, and entertainment venues.
Officials said a conservative estimate of the economic impact will be around $180 million.
Committee reps expect nearly 1 million people to visit the city in the 10 days leading up to the game.
With that will come increased security.
The committee has officially chosen all their 10,000 volunteers.
Those volunteers were notified Tuesday.
