Former Physics Teacher Finds Momentum In Comedy
MARIETTA, Ga. - He's a part-time Roswell resident who spent years in the education field -- then followed his heart straight to the Broadway stage.
Steve Solomon left a longtime career in teaching and administration to write the one-man show "My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish & I'm in Therapy!" -- in which he plays dozens of characters through the use of various accents and dialects. The show ran for two successful years in New York, and has since toured the world. Now, Solomon is back home, opening the show at the Earl Smith Strand Theatre in Marietta for a three-week engagement, starting September 30th.
Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken sat down with Solomon at the Strand to learn more about the man...and his comedy!
