Georgia karting club takes competition to the track
BARNESVILLE, Ga. - Chances are you’ve done a few laps in a kart at one time or another – but the kind of karting on display at the Lamar County Speedway is definitely not for those who live their lives in the slow lane!
The Georgia Sprint Karting Association is based at the Lamar County Speedway in Barnesville, and holds regular practice sessions and races open to those with a kart and a need for speed! Single day membership to the GSKA costs $10, with individual annual memberships for $50 and family memberships available for $70.
The next scheduled event is on Saturday, June 23rd with the GSKA 2018 SuperSeries Race #6 – Night Race, 206 Money Shootout, Kids Hoverboard Race. Registration at the track opens at 3:00 p.m., but online registration closes at 5 p.m. the Friday before the race.
