ATLANTA - A Jurassic world is coming to life at one of Atlanta's top museums, as some of the largest dinosaurs in history take center stage for an exciting new exhibit.
The World's Largest Dinosaurs opened September 17 at Fernbank Museum of Natural History, and will continue through January 2, 2017. The exhibit is dedicated to the largest known dinosaurs, which are brought to life through interactive galleries and displays. Guests to the exhibit will see a life-sized model of the 60-foot-long Mamenchisaurus (standing at 11 feet tall), which features textured skin on one side and a view of the dinosaur's internal organs on the other. The exhibit also explains how scientists believe these creatures were able to survive for millions of years.
Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken spent the morning stepping back in time, exploring the giant dinosaurs at Fernbank Museum of Natural History.
