ATLANTA - It’s a question that’s been whispered through the halls of the FOX 5 Atlanta studios for years: “Have you seen the ghost?” And for a few lucky (or perhaps…unlucky?) employees, the answer is an unequivocal “Yes.”
Good Day Atlanta digital producer Katie Muse recently became one of the believers when she arrived for work early one August morning before sunrise.
Muse recounts seeing what appeared to be a man dressed in a Civil War-era uniform walking along the edge of the FOX 5 parking lot…and then suddenly disappearing. Muse had never heard stories of the ghost before, but soon realized her story matched those of several other current and former employees who claim to have seen the ghost of a soldier walking the station property, which is located on Briarcliff Road near Emory University.
Following Muse's experience, Good Day Atlanta’s Paul Milliken decided to lead a little paranormal investigation around the FOX 5 studios, looking for the truth behind the rumors of a haunting. So he brought in the experts from Paranormal Georgia Investigations to look around the station and give their take on the legend of the FOX 5 ghost.
