Japan to release radioactive water from nuclear plant into Pacific Ocean

Japan plans to dump radioactive water from a powerplant into the Pacific Ocean.

Protesters gathered outside of the prime minister's office calling him to scrap the decision.

The government said it will treat the water to minimize "most" of the radioactive particles.

The dumping is scheduled to begin in 2 years.
