Let it snow: Six Flags Over Georgia promises a 'White Christmas'
AUSTELL, Ga. - Forget about the North Pole -- this year, Santa Claus is making Six Flags Over Georgia his home for the holiday season.
Holiday in the Park returns to the Austell amusement park from November 19 through January 4, creating some Christmas magic with more than a million LED lights, dozens of decorated trees, and daily snowfall on Main Street. The park will feature several themed areas, including Peppermint Plaza, Retro Christmas USA, and Holiday City, and rides will remain open during the 26 days of Holiday in the Park.
The centerpiece will be the Candlelight Carousel, as the 1908 Riverview Carousel gets covered by lights, garland, ornaments, and more than 200 luminary candles.
