Three young Marietta brothers amazed their parents when they all started reading by 3-years-old, and now the boys are members of MENSA, the largest and oldest high IQ society in the world.

Poonam Kumar's three sons, Ajay, 12, Vijay, 10, and Sanjay, 8, soar academically. It all started when Mrs. Kumar and her husband, Swapan, opened a book.

The Kumars started reading to their boys when they were just days old.  At age 3 they were each fluent in reading.

"It amazed us", said Poonam Kumar.

The young boys' love of reading books continues today.

"Reading is very fun because it's like a movie but with words," said Ajay.

"It takes you places you never could have imagined," Vijay said.

"It makes you smarter," Sanjay said. "And you learn about things you don't know."

Not only are they excelling in school, but they recently applied for memberships into MENSA and were admitted. MENSA is open to people who score at the 98th percentile or higher on a standardized test.

So, while the boys continue to score high academically, their parents know how important it is to keep them grounded. They're involved in extra-curricular activities like student council, lacrosse, karate, and music just to name a few.

However, the Kumars said at the end of the day their boys are normal kids.
