We know that one day Max will literally change the life of a disabled veteran, so we thought it would be fun to watch him interact with some veterans and they with him. Not surprisingly, it went very well.

Ten-year U.S. Army veteran Gerald Smith and seven-year U.S. Army Veteran Audrey Gallagher are both "dog people," and they were thrilled to get to spend some time with Max.
"He is going to be phenomenal. He's got me in another state of mind," said Smith, amazed at what the 6-month-old puppy is already capable of doing.
Smith went on to compare Max to an "extended arm or the other leg" for a future veteran in need of assistance.
Gallagher, who served in both Iraq and Afghanistan, knows that Max will also "help with socializing."
"A lot of people have anxiety or depression and Max will help bring them out of their bubble," she said.
Max continues to hone his skills that will one day help a deserving veteran, and we continue to follow his progress on Good Day Atlanta.
