ATLANTA - Max reunited with some old friends on Good Day Atlanta Tuesday morning... the Harlem Globetrotters!

Our 1-year-old Golden Retriever was beyond thrilled to see his buddy, Buckets Blake, walk through the door, and he also enjoyed meeting Hoops Green. The two "Globies" visited FOX 5 to promote their show at Infinite Energy Arena in Duluth this Saturday.
Max first met Buckets Blake last February, shortly after arriving at FOX 5 to begin his journey of becoming a service dog for a veteran in need. A small team of FOX 5 employees is working closely with Canine Assistants to help teach Max everything he needs to know, and in just a few short months Max will be paired with his veteran.

Buckets Blake was shocked at how big Max has gotten in just one year. He's tripled in size, but one thing has remained the same: Max's love for balls. He's been learning how to retrieve items through playing fetch. As you can image, Max was over the moon the second he spotted the Harlem Globetrotters' basketball Tuesday morning. He had a "ball" chasing it around the newsroom as well as on the Good Day Atlanta set.
The Harlem Globetrotters will have shows at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday in Duluth, then they'll be at Philips Arena on Saturday, March 10, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
