Move it Monday: Double Dutch Aerobics
ATLANTA - When you were a kid playing double dutch with jump ropes, you probably had no idea you were getting an aerobic workout. But the founders of Double Dutch Aerobics say it’s a great way to get in shape – and to have some fun, too.
Double Dutch World Champion Michelle Clark and her husband Sean created Double Dutch Aerobics, which uses aerobic exercises including jumping jacks and push-ups along with jump ropes. If it sounds intimidating, Clark says she can teach anyone to double dutch in less than one minute. And to see if she’s right, we presented her with her greatest challenge yet – Good Day Atlanta’s Paul Milliken!
He spent the morning at the Dance 411 Studios at 475 Moreland Avenue SE in Atlanta, for a lesson in Double Dutch Aerobics!
